Try Delicata Squash Fries For A Healthy Carb


Winter is coming…so why not indulge in some winter squash, formally known as delicata squash! This super easy recipe makes for a delicious side dish and is built around ONE key ingredient…the delicata squash. As always, if weight management is a concern, eat in moderation and preferably enjoy the fries after a strenuous workout!


  • 1 Delicata squash

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Begin by preheating the oven to 425°.

  • Cut the squash in half and remove the seeds.

  • Slice the squash into approximately 1/4″ pieces.

  • Place the diced up squash into a large mixing bowl and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper!

  • Place the pieces on a non-stick baking sheet.

  • Bake for 30 minutes, flipping the squash halfway through at the 15 minute mark.

  • Once brown and crispy, remove from the oven, let cool and enjoy!
