Healthy Meals: Zucchini Pasta & Meatballs

Amajor key to revamping your physique is regularly eating healthy meals. At The Gym of Avon, we understand that in order to eat healthy, the meals also have to taste good! Yo-yoing back and forth between various diets and exercise will not allow your body to get on track and start making physical changes!

As trainers, one of our tricks to helping clients stay consistent nutritionally is to show them how to prepare food in a way thats enjoyable and tastes great! Zucchini pasta and meatballs is a delicious meal that will keep you on the straight and narrow towards a lean, healthy physique!


  • 4 medium zucchinis

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 jar of Newman's Own Pasta Sauce

  • 12 turkey or ground beef meatballs (recipe here if making from scratch)


Follow instructions for meatball recipe and begin baking while you prepare the zucchini noodles.
Use a veggie spaghetti maker to spiral the zucchini into strands resembling noodles.
Begin heating desired amount of pasta sauce on medium heat.
Lightly sauté the zucchini noodles and olive oil for 3-5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place the noodles in a bowl and top with pasta sauce and meatballs! Enjoy!
