Avocado Ice Cream, Tom Brady Style
Throwing a football like Tom Brady might not be in the cards, but that doesn't mean you can't snack like him! This avocado ice cream recipe is taken from Tom's new cookbook; TB12™ Nutritional Manual and with a little prep work and patience, you can enjoy it too!
1 Avocado (ripe & soft)
1/2 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup coconut meat (from young coconuts)
1 1/2 cups dates (pitted)
A cup of raw cacao powder
1 1/4 cups water
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth.
Place the mixture in the freezer and wait till it reaches desired thickness.
Scoop ice cream into 4 dishes and serve with your choice of toppings.
